Facade Grant

The Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority’s Façade Improvement Program is a 50/50 matching grant program, up to $1,500, designed to support businesses throughout the commercial business district of Hiawassee.

WHAT TYPES OF IMPROVEMENTS ARE ELIGIBLE?

Decorative or functional improvements such as storefronts and entrances, lighting, windows, painting, and more.

WHERE DOES MY BUSINESS NEED TO BE LOCATED?

Commercial and business properties must have an address within the Hiawassee Downtown Development Authority boundaries.

HOW DO I APPLY?
The Façade Improvement Program application process is administered through the City of Hiawassee’s Economic Development Office.
