6th Annual Taste of the Southern Highlands

DinnerCome on out to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, Georgia on June 28, 2011 for the 6th Annual Taste of the Southern Highlands. This ultimate “Mountain Tasting Experience” lets local restaurants and wineries showcase their delectable fare. Purchasing a ticket allows you to get a sample from any or all of the restaurants and wineries represented. There will also be musical entertainment brought to you by local talent.

The event is from 6 PM to 8 PM. Tickets are $20 for adults, $7 for children 6 – 12, and 5 and under is Free. 6th Annual Mountain Fling Arts and Crafts Show

Arts and Crafts ShowDon’t miss the 6th Annual Mountain Fling Arts and Crafts Show at the North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, Georgia on June 25 and 26, 2011. This will be a juried arts and crafts show with booths inside and out. There will be even more this year as a new garden section has been added with potted plants and garden decor.

Food and beverages will be available. If you are interested in being a food vendor for this show, contact ArtWorks at 706-896-0932. Only push carts and tent space will be available, no drive in trailers or vehicles will be allowed.

The show is being brought to you by ArtWorks, owned by the Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild, and will be open on June 25, 2011 from 9 AM to 5 PM and on June 26, 2011 from 11 AM to 4 PM. For more information and applications, call 706-896-0932.
