Celebrate the Christmas season through the Arts by touring 8 beautifully decorated homes with artisans demonstrations on December 3 – 5, 2010. The decorator’s show house is a holiday home festively decorated by the local area’s designers. Hours for the tour on Saturday are 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Ridges Resort and Marina from 5 PM to 7 PM. Tickets are $25 per person with a portion of the proceeds going to the Towns County Food Pantry. Discounted group tickets are available.

The Mountain Community Chorus will be performing their Christmas concert with music from around the world on December 3 and 5, 2010. The event takes place in the Glenn Auditorium at Young Harris College. Showtimes are 8 PM on Friday, December 3, 2010, and 3 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Admission is free with donations being accepted.

The Mountain Community Chorus was started in 1974 as a way to bring choral music to the mountains. It is directed by William H. Fox, the head of the music department at Young Harris College.
